Virginia Randolph Bueide

Ginny Bueide records, with acrylics on canvas and wood panel, her impressions of city and country landscape, gardens and interiors. Her recent work is influenced by life in Minnesota and by stays in France and Italy; it is distinguished by an exuberant use of color and the artist’s sense of play.

Ginny attended the Minneapolis School of Art (now Minneapolis School of Art and Design) and graduated from Barat College in Lake Forest, IL. Over the years, she has maintained studios in New York and Los Angeles and has had several solo exhibitions in the Twin Cities. Her work is represented in the collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, and General Mills, among many others. 

The artist is currently based in St. Louis Park, MN and in Austin, TX. Recently, she has participated in group exhibitions at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, ND and at the Duluth Art Institute.
