Heinz Brummel
Heinz Brummel is an internationally
recognized Minneapolis jewelry artist who creates contemporary, sculptural
jewelry using precious metals, enameling, stones – including carnelian, black onyx, jade, lapis lazuli, and
jasper – and other organic and synthetic materials. His work
carries echoes of late 19th and early 20th century artists whose work
he admires: Klee, Calder, Miro, and the artists of the Bauhaus
movement.
Heniz’s work is much sought after by collectors of contemporary
art jewelry in the U.S. and Europe. Since 1981, he has exhibited
in galleries in numerous group and solo shows throughout the United States
and overseas.
